Pediatric Hearing Loss

Pediatric Hearing Loss

For children, hearing loss can be congenital or present at birth and acquired. Congenital hearing loss can be severe to profound as well as sensorineural. Again, hearing loss can be pre-natal, natal, perinatal and postnatal. Acquired hearing loss can be conductive or sensorineural or mixed. Frequent cough and cold can give rise to Otitis Media in children, which is again a common reason for conductive hearing loss in children. Children can have many other difficulties from hearing loss.
